There's no question that Walt Disney was a visionary — his vision was so strong that even though he wasn't around to see it, Walt Disney World was still seen to fruition after his death. Not only that, they opened several more parks on the land that he had gobbled up in Florida.
One of those parks, of course, being EPCOT — or as it was called when it opened, EPCOT Center.
Why the use of all caps, you might ask? Are we shouting at you? Turns out EPCOT is actually an acronym, one that Walt himself coined, even though the park didn't open until 16 years after he had passed away. What does it stand for, anyway?
